Jillian Gonzalez
Hi, I’m Jillian Gonzalez, the proud owner and baker behind The Five Foot Baker LLC. I’m a professionally trained baker, and baking has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember starting when I was just 10 years old, creating sweet treats for my family.

How it all begin!
That early passion led me to the CTEC Program while attending Washingtonville High School, where I began turning my love of baking into a lifelong career.
I went on to study at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, where I earned an Associate’s degree in Baking & Pastry Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship.
With seven years of hands-on experience in the baking industry, I began my journey with an internship at a small café known for its delicious meals and baked-from-scratch desserts. That experience led me to a family-run farm bakery, and eventually to a leadership role as a supervisor at a high-production bakery. Through these opportunities, I’ve honed my skills in leadership, attentive customer service, efficient operations, and—of course—crafting delicious baked goods made with care and creativity.
My favorite desserts to bake are cupcakes, cookies, and pastries. I take great pride in perfecting my recipes and making sure each treat is baked to perfection, from the first batch to the last. Whether it’s a soft and chewy cookie or a light, flaky pastry, I always aim to create comforting and delicious desserts that bring joy to those who enjoy them.
Opening my own bakery is truly a dream come true. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be launching The Five Foot Baker but here I am, and I can’t wait to share my creations with you.
